An old sub enclosure building trick is to take nylon rope and soak it in resin and lay it out and it gives structural rigidity. I wonder if I could soak some rope and lay some stripes out on the bottom of my hull kinda like a groovy rideplate but a groovy hull with less grooves.

Use radiator hose and a sump pump check valve. It wont melt and the check valve keeps water from going back into the engine. I have a 550 that was setup like this when I bought it and yes it's loud, but its kinda like loud pipes on a harley :)

Does the diameter of where the grips go change?
