    Aluminum Coupler Cover

I have not seen it firsthand, but I have heard that the Blowsion aluminum coupler has caused some of the coupler mounts from the bedplate to break. Hopefully this won't be a problem with this one because it is a lighter weight aluminum. Not bashing Blowsion in any way---just passing on some...

    Who's got an XMetal waterbox?

Still building. :pat: I am running one in my other, ski. Took a stocker with a welded tee out to put the X-metal one in.

    Who's got an XMetal waterbox?

Yep. No doubt whatsoever. I can weigh a stocker with a tee welded on it to an X-metal for comparison if you'd like. I believe Pat mentioned something about a ten pound difference in weight if you consider the weight of the water in the box into the equation.

    Who's got an XMetal waterbox?

That's how I'm running one on my WCF ski. Huge difference in weight when compared to a stock aluminum for a round. It is considerably louder than most others, but not as loud as a TDR!

300/440/550 Best air intake setup for a Smooth x2 hood

It works. I *think* Pete used a similar set-up, but then changed it for some reason. Maybe he'll chime in here. I helped xxx2 with his build, but I'm no expert.

300/440/550 Best air intake setup for a Smooth x2 hood

That's all yours is---an "idea." You haven't had it in the water enough to know if it actually works.:cool2: Didn't someone in Daytona say it wasn't letting enough air in???  BTW---did you get your transmission in your Ford fixed? :dunno:

Dude---you may be "out" of school come May 10th, but you'll be going to just as many classes as before. You said it yourself in the very next sentence. The Air Force thrives on training---this is coming from a prior Air Force plumber---pilots are much more valuble and therefore require...

3M makes an adhesive remover that usually works very well. Spray it on, it heats the glue and you scrape it off with a Bondo scraper.

96+ Superjet OEM hood seal fitting - Help!

SuperGlue, which is effectively the same as the CA stuff, is what I've had the best luck with. When I looked around here for CA at a hobby shop they didn't have any. Ended up at Home Depot buying a few of the largest SuperGlue tubes they had. I have also seen contact cement used with...
