Another thing I do is rather than grounding the plugs, I find it easier to hold the stop switch in while I crank it over at the same time.

I've got a spare stock SXR bottom end. Very nice clean cases, crank and rods from an 08 SXR. I could split it up and just sell the cases for the right price, make me an offer.

A 10/15 will give you great low end, but you will loose some top end power. After you port the 701 a 11/16 Hooker might be a good choice.

He's saying the prop pitch is too big, switch to a 9/15 and you will find the low end power.

Can you run 38"s with a aftermarket intake? If so, does running a aftermarket intake gain you anything if your running stock 38's. On say a ported 701 with a B-pipe, head, 180psi, VF 2's and a MSD CDI.
