One came on our 08 SJ and we still run it. I like the idea of running one, set up right I would think it could only help support the engine in any hull, stock or am.

Personaly I’m not a fan of the old school pin hook ups that go through the bow hole. If I was building something I would go with a set-up like these. Without a bow hook you'll need to build a pin that goes into the bow hole and then has a eye for the strap to hook too. Or maybe a big eye...

The easiest way would be just add a new cross beam in front of the bunks. Bolt it on with U bolts, that way you can remove it latter. Same winch stant should work just get U bolts with the right spacing. I alos run 2x8" or 10's with carpet on each side for walk boards and to fill up the space...
