800 SXR...... RRP, Pro Watercraft handlepole Performance Gain?

X2. Same here, the RRP set up is first class. Save the OEM pole before it breaks, then when you sell the SXR put it back on and get well over half of what you paid for the RRP SXR setup.

    SuperJet Advice

Less expensive mods for a little more power on a stock ski might be; add some aftermarket air cleaners, remove the chokes, add a primer kit, re-jet and have the head milled for 91-93 octane gas. Maybe a new prop or re-pitch.

XFS Comp DASA 1200 Loads up after spins???

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm wondering if the pipe extension in the exhaust outlet helped at all.

Help, low compression after new top end

We bought the engine new. When new, it was 180/180 and for the next two years it held the 180/180 reading. As expected at around 50 hrs the compression started falling, indicating it's was time for a new top end.

Help, low compression after new top end

Sorry I've been busy. Took the head off, all looks fine with cylinder walls, head and O rings. I'm going to be removing the cylinder to measure and check things out further.

Help, low compression after new top end

Quality gauge, reads 180/180 on the SJ and then 150/145 on the fresh Dasa.

Help, low compression after new top end

Dasa 1000, new pistons, rings and bore. Dasa did the work and all went together great, turns over fine and sounds normal turning over. For the heck of it I checked the compression (good gauge) before I put in the water and it's only 150!! It should be 180 - 185. I've never seen this before...

Can you install conectors on stator wires?

Not a huge deal, but it would be nice at times to remove the engine without removing the ebox. Would it work to cut and install Weather Pack connectors (Like new cars have) on the stator wires. A nice 4 wire waterproof connector would be nice to unplug at times.

    Freestyle Extra cylinder cooling

You asked for a pic of my water distribution block. Two inlets on each end, 1/2" and 7/16" From left to right, 1- 5/16th to jet on top of exhaust manifold, 1-1/2" to cooling on bottom of manifold, 4-3/8" to cyllinder, 1-3/8" to waterbox (with restricter). Hope this helps.

My ski is sitting at the bottom of the ocean

Sorry to hear. I don't know much about ocean currents and waves, but I'd be worried it's not going to be in the same area it went down. In fresh water the key is to get it running as quick as you can and run it a long time to dry it out. Unfortunately I'd guess with salt and 24+ hrs your...

    Freestyle Extra cylinder cooling

I like the discussion on water flow, water pressure and cooling interesting and informative. But getting back to what the OP is asking about, the routing waterlines on a Dasa cylinder with extra cooling. We have 4 extra cooling lines on our Dasa cylinder. It's a TC Freeride built XFS with a...
