    In certain situations, i.e.: a water main failure or a fire department pumper hooked up to a hydrant, water may be allowed to backfeed into the municipal supply. A backflow preventer (if properly functioning) will prevent the water from doing this.

    That is one of the most unusual looking backflow preventers that we have installed. It takes up alot less space than a conventional-style and sometimes you NEED that extra space.

    1. Nope---one of my employees had this "fake" tag made up for his van. Mine is RYLFL5H. 2. Nope---Kitchen and Bath Show in Las Vegas---I WISH my showroom looked that nice! 3. Correct. 4. Close---it's actually a four-inch. The flanges and the backflow body make it look bigger.
