Apparantly my 07 SJ has a new spring on it? Except even though I haven't seen a stock one the pole rests on the hood as if its not doing anything? I read the other blogs re these springs and bad production runs etc. What can I do to give it some more 'wood'! I'd rather not buy another new one.

Lots of good feedback but still never any diffinitive answer - I guess my biggest thing is - Is there potential to cause engine damage doing a tail stand with rear exhaust? Cavitation etc aside...the build up of exhaust gases has to effect something?
