Well, things went from poking along to pulling 3 consecutive late nights and taking a day off.... So I need to update this mofo...
As with any project that has a 'left and right' side, the second side is always easier.
I welded on the 2.5" 1/8" wall square tube. The trailer wanted to bow...
KTM, the holds arn't done. They'll be semi adjustable "Ricky-Bobby" holds. Updates will be made in my other build thread.
Dude Tyler thats badass!
I got the LED from here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/bolt-beam-12mm-led-light/1494/
But its REALLY bright, even in...
I was going to put it in Freestyle because the flow guard is a item used more by folks doing tricks etc.
The freestyle and surfriding sections were merged into "riding" so thats why I put it there.
Thats my reasoning for putting it there. I can see how it might apply to drive line, but under...
*edit*
Brian, full length plate for now, no grate on Sun but I'm gonna try the Jet Dynamics one i had made.
Thanks everyone. Got some things in the works for the BC, nothing crazy but I think ya'll will dig it.
Water was total crap on my first ride. Chop city. Pretty bummed but it could...
Between that response and your avatar, you earn your way into the Dbag bonus round.
What happened to it being lame if your avatar wasn't a you doing some 'stud' move on your ski?
Yes!
Rode it Sunday.
So it has a 701 single carb motor ported by GroupK. It hasn't been fired in about 18 months, and I basically threw it in the hull, fired it up to ensure operation and went to the lake.

BTW... Is that Jetmaniacs old lady????
Cause if it is....
Must be all that great "customer service" ;)
Yeah, it was on the orange KDX (can't remember the guys name, he makes all the badass videos), at Flatwater Friday. I'm a lake guy so I figured I would try it out. But as mentioned above, it only works when attached to a trim ring.
Ok, thanks. I didn't think about the hose clamp needing to be low profile. I thought it mounted, or could be mounted directly to the exit nozzle and apparently thats not how it works.
Thanks ya'll back to the drawing board.
Tried the search function and pretty much only found the gut who made his flow guard out of a flower pot.
Im pretty sure the rubber flappy flow guard that people are putting on their exit nozzles are made from a B pipe coupler, but I wanted to make sure before I bought the material from...
Been putting this off for a lot of reasons.
Spite
Laziness
Performance Anxiety
Writers Block for a fun ski name
But I rode my ski for the first time yesterday... 24 days after I received it. I budgeted in my mind that it would take a month to assemble, if only because of little parts that I...
