Whenever the last thread came around, I said that the market was there for a backyard hull builder to produce something in the 3-4k range that was good quality (not super freak/ RRP quality). The majority disagreed. And here we are with a variety of that exact product.
Now... that being said...
IMO its kind of a shame to hack up a aftermarket hood. It appears to already be 'lowered' or lower than stock.
Its your stuff though.
If you wanna be awesome, make a mold for a new hood and lay it up out of carbon.
If you chop that one and build it back up I doubt it'll be lighter than what...
