I've gone through 3 of those before I got tired of hauling/ fixing them. Be careful of the flange/ edges of the 90s don't scratch up your hull as bad or worse than the beach. Try some thick carpet and sand / grind down he sharp edges. I finally pony'd up for the OCD sicssor stand. Money well...

I would try foot straps if you want more control to complete more tricks. Holds are more of a commitment IMO. If you want more power, yeah^^^ all that stuff will make a huge difference.

Someone (I think #zero) made a bracket to move the cable mount down into the pole, solving this issue. If you could move it an inch, you could make a bracket on the turn plate that moves it back an inch.

IMO, and from my experience, you'll spend as much time and money jacking with that PVC as you will trying to find a used aluminum cart and stand. I found a used cart for $250 on CL locally. Hell, if you're feeling crafty, buy some aluminum, mock it up and have someone tig it together. Just...

So what was the total chop on the back? I know you went extreme and I respect how you pulled it off, just curious how much became too much? Sucks about your pole also, what's your plan? Fix the design you have or go with a traditional unit?

Either a wrap like the suggestion above or a thin laminate. Going 1/2" deep is way overkill if ou just want the look. Btw, hydro turf made/makes a wood grain turf.
