I remember in 95 when Rick Roy (Eric then) used an AZZ hold to do barrel rolls. It was just a cheap plastic chain bolted to the bond rail on each side of the tray that came up waist high to hold him in the tray. I still get a chuckle looking at the pictures. :biggrin:

That's not an 87 550 motor.

87 550 had red topdeck and white bottom. 87 440 was all white. 87 650 was white with either red or blue handlepole. 87 300 was white and has one cylinder. Hope this helps.

For around town, I prefer wider tires. They are much more forgiving and quite durable. I have WTB Graffiti 2.2's and they roll pretty easy, and handle potholes and bumps pretty well. On the other end of the spectrum, my brother has 28mm tires (700c wheels) and has to slow down for the one...

Heating the aluminum during welding can soften (anneal) it to the point where it is prone to crack from vibrations. Having a repaired chamber re-heat treated might work to prevent future cracks - but only to some extent. Aluminum can only stand up to so much flexing and vibration before it...

The track kit is ok for trails, where he snow is packed down. No good for any deep snow. I'll take some picures when I go to our cottage in a week or two.

Rogo heads were cast in one piece without interchangable domes, as far as I can remember. They haven't been around for nearly 20yrs.
