You can still use 750 pipes. You just need the FPP Yamaha manifold that makes the head pipe to exhaust manifold the 3 bolt pattern. Post a pic of your adapter plate. I have only seen ones that made it where you could use Yamaha exhaust manifolds on Kawasaki cylinders.

After looking back over the two pics he posted the X2 does have an Aerospace name on the side of it. I wonder if that was a photoshop job? haha lol

I concur, only downside I see about Yamaha's is that they still don't make the radiator shrouds cover the whole gas tank. The shrouds are a lot cheaper to replace than the tank. Tank graphics always end up turning yellow and peeling. Plus you run the risk of striping out those brass inserts...

No need, just use a FPP Yamaha manifold. Then you just use any three bolt head pipe (Kawasaki style) and it will bolt right up to the manifold.
