    I also have always run the BR9es in Kawi's with no issues. The "all or nothing" swap ski I recently finished has already been ridden many hours on the same pair of BR9es plugs. Breaks in the plug wires cause the spark to have to jump a gap. The end result is LOTS of resistance at the discharge...

    The 750 nozzle will only work in a 440/550 hull if you cut the arm down. That's what I did and it works great.

    The one I just did.......https://www.x-h2o.com/threads/550sx-to-750-all-or-nothing-build.208950/..........was about the same. I ended up with a thin shim at each rear pump mount. That, in turn, put the driveshaft almost center of the bearing holder opening.

    I got some more tuning, ride time, and heat/cool cycles this evening. I Made a restrictor and slipped in the tubing to the stinger water. it's now only a 1/8" hole. I also turned the high screw in a bit, we are now at 1 5/8" turn out. The whole setup seems very happy now with crisp throttle...
