Other 760 Yamaha with dual 38's

If you're looking for fuel economy, then smaller carbs will definitely deliver that. But if you're after acceleration, the bigger carbs are going to give you more. Personally, I don’t focus on economy in my skis—I’m all about power. I’ll concede that 38s will give you better fuel efficiency, but...

Maximizing Velocity in Two-Stroke Engine Intake Manifolds: Why Speed Beats Volume

Praise the lord! Someone finally agrees with me about reed stuffers. I’ve been pushing this point for years, and everyone always thinks I’m crazy for saying it

Other 760 Yamaha with dual 38's

The question I have for those who think 38s are better is this: why are flat water freestyle riders trying to fit the largest possible carb on their backflip skis? If anyone needs low-end snap, it’s the rider attempting a double backflip on flat water, right?

WTB Yamaha FX1 Pro-Tec Ride Plate

I have a shredmaster and I find its not the best grip but its is predictable. It will move on your unlike the jet dynamics which will hold then let go all of a sudden. Im not sure which one is my favorite, i guess it depends on the way I am riding. I like them both

New Ready to Run LSP S1 Hull

He did approach us initially about exhausts, but we clearly weren’t at the right price point for him. I’m not sure who ended up making these pipes, but he did what he thought was best.

New Ready to Run LSP S1 Hull

Good on him for bringing more options to the market. There are a few things I might have done differently with the setup, but I won’t comment on those. Overall, I think it’s a solid setup, and more competition in the market is always a positive thing.

Maximizing Velocity in Two-Stroke Engine Intake Manifolds: Why Speed Beats Volume

I completely agree with you. Most people want their ski to hit hard the moment the throttle is cracked wide open. Big horsepower numbers mean nothing if there's no power under the curve to support it. The most fun engine to ride is one that’s responsive and torquey—it makes the ski feel alive...

Maximizing Velocity in Two-Stroke Engine Intake Manifolds: Why Speed Beats Volume

When we designed the Wax Racing intake, we focused on keeping the volume as low as possible and ensuring the intake didn't increase in volume as air moved through. This was specifically done to maintain high airspeed, which is essential for optimal engine performance. The Importance of High Air...

    Cracked intake manifold

You would need to change the head since the bracket mounting tabs are a separate part on the head itself. Additionally, I'm unsure about the exact distance of the carbs from the engine on a 62T compared to an aftermarket intake on the 61X. I also suspect that the carbs may sit closer together on...

broke my stock bars; suggestions for replacement?

Not all bars are the same. Wax racing made for a thicker bar for this reason. We were bending some of the aftermarket bars as well. https://www.waxracingproducts.com/products/wax-racing-fat-bars?srsltid=AfmBOop1xrzEKX4oetOCqsSVYuht_IBfSWB5Jm60NQ9MCLafrH2gWMH-
