I read that rule thinking alright so what is going to be better for that class a 760 or a 701 with a zeel. Now the answer is clear! This is a really good offering... Maybe not so much for the HX guys :D
Even though I just got my 61x cylinder back from you I'm curious what are the recommended...
Knowing these figures has anyone ever tried an NLP5 with 200 starting amps and 2ah? Found one at Walmart for $45
Wondering if the capacity would be enough on a non total loss ski.. I have a NLP14 in another ski but have not monitored its SOC after a days use close enough.
hmm I mean you could always use something like a jackery with say a 2A Noco charger but ideally want something that would do DC to DC.
I wonder if any RC car battery chargers would work as a lot of them run off of DC. I have one that has a PB 12v charge mode and runs off DC.
I used silicone grease but the liquid tape is a good idea! Something like this I imagine?

JR. Said he didn't do anything to his and practically submerged his in saltwater and it was still going. Quite impressive
That battery is more of a deep cycle battery. looks to only have a continuous draw rating of 30A and 2 second pulse rating of 65A. Go over that and the BMS will likely cut the load off.
Unless its a starting battery the batteries max amperage draw is going to be less then a starting battery...
All very good points! I would definitely say it could use some testing. I wonder if the base where it mounts is thick enough and if the mount for the fuel strap will hold up.
While in testing I wonder if a couple layers of electrical tape over the positive terminal would be beneficial? kind of...
Im not sure if they are on here but I saw this posted on FB by Vaughn Gladwell. Vaughn designed a battery mount for the Superjet and a Noco NLP14 that does not require battery straps and retains the factory mount to hold the fuel tank strap. Pretty cool I think! I do wonder if some sort of shock...
So it looks like your factory battery has about 325CCA and a specified 19AH but its really about half that if doing a recommended 50% Depth of discharge.
I run the NLP14 that has 500 amps of starting power but only 4AH. The capacity of the battery has never been a problem after a day of...
Impressive Paul! I have one in my Blaster I have been running for a year with the zeel and its been great. I wrapped some tape around the bond line and some silicone grease under the terminals on mine where they go into the case. I was worried about putting one in a fresh water stand up needing...
