    I'm using an oem 760 intake manifold. I have a protec sitting here too so I know I'm using the correct adapters in the vforces for the oem manifold, yet it has this large mismatch thats driving me nuts. Can this be ported to match or should I leave it alone?

    Putting together this round nose from boxes of parts. Have two flywheels. Identical in every way except the magnets. Anyone know why? Need to use one of them.

    I don't find anything lacking except for reasonably priced pipes that are available. The B pipe is still expensive but lay downs are absurdly over priced imo and B pipes are never available. Otherwise everything is out there if you are willing to pay.

    I have a similar issue with my wave raider right now, first ride is great, then once its turned off and back on after heat soaking it won't take throttle. I too am assuming stator since the CDI and coil have both been changed.

    Is there any performance benefit to running a protec manifold over the oem manifold on a 760? I noticed the ports are different shaped openings where it meets with the block otherwise they are the same it seems.

    So your running lower then recommended octane in a high rpm/constantly building heat race application. That's the problem. Run the right octane, or let off the throttle every few seconds to let things cool. Ada recommends 100octane for my 760 compression. I run like 93-94 depending how...
