yes I'm aware that there's more you can do on on a superjet but I'm not really interested In going that route. with our dollar i could sink 5k into my ski to make it marginally better and still worse than a 10 year old AM ski and half the fun.
i hear yea man! exactly true I don't have the skills to really push a freestyle boat yet and I'm stuck doing stabs, 180's etc off my own wake and the odd surf boat maybe 3 times a year and it's getting old fast on my SJ.

question for AM hull experts. it's time to make the switch from my superjet to an AM hull for freestyle but I'm in Canada so i don't have the opportunity to test ride hulls unless I drive around 3000+ miles. keeping my 07 superjet around for cruising up and down the river. i need help narrowing...
as long as its on rails or on a rug it will be fine, I cant imagine just tossing my ski into the back of my truck with nothing underneath to protect it and stop it from sliding around.
My first mod on my 07 was a 201 and I cannot imagine going back to the stock intake grate, when doing pre hops for hitting huge wakes the ski hooks up so much better and give you that initial launch power you want. when ripping faster and carving around it acts as a "underwater spoiler" and...
with the Canadian dollar I think it's a good budget setup. all those aftermarket systems cost over 1500 cdn dollars once they get here. maybe even closer to 2000
