No way a properly working dual cooling system engine overheated with both lines going into the engine. I don't overheat a more modded single cooled engine in 115* air and 80's water temps.
Selling an extra FP manifold I have for Yamaha's. Has both cooling ports drilled and tapped. One helicoil/timesert installed. $300 shipped in the 48. 61x manifold.
I aquired an ADA head for my ski but it came with two sets of 701 domes and I'm running 84mm bore so I need 760 domes. Both sets are in excellent shape with no pitting. 33cc and 35cc dome sets.
Looking to trade them for 35cc and 38cc 84mm bore sets.
My protec girdle and groupK have proven otherwise haha.
I get the squish band. The domes being too big thing still mystifies me. For instance, I had a 701 head machined for the 84mm bore in my 61x cylinder. It seems weird to me that the domes could be too big in a 701 head for that application...
They know if everyone wants the crossover and it makes the ski hard to tune, everyone will blame their product for being a poor design and give them a bad reputation. Not worth it vs just making the no crossover that most people want anyways. Most people fill the crossover in the oem manifolds...
I run a single in/dual out stock sized lines setup in 115* air temp with somewhere in the 80's water temp all summer long no problemo. Dual cooling with 65* water temp is absurdly over doing it.
