New Superjet to be dubbed the BN?

All profile pics on it require a blunt in hand or mouth. For consistency.

I hate these threads, which means I hate myself. Jetting start point?

Doing some swapparu's with parts over the winter and just curious where I should start. -Putting a 760 cylinder [thats going to get a light home porting] on my raider, so it'll basically be a 760 motor but with dual 38's. Go up, down, leave the stock 67.5/120 jetting the raider comes with? Ski...

    1990 Superjet 650

I did that once. Flywheel wasn't on enough to create a good enough spark to fire the engine even though it did have spark. Had to take back apart, hit flywheel with torch and grease the crank to get it on all the way.

    1990 Superjet 650

Did you install the flywheel all the way? Just slapping it on with 60lbs/ft won't seat it.

No idea sorry. I cut from the bottem on the RN pole where it inserts into the metal bracket.

-The more power, the better. -Round Nose handlepole that I could cut to fit me was a major improvement. Don't even need a new pole bracket if you can work a cut off wheel for 1.5 minutes. -footholds

    What engine should I pick?

Right how dare you not drop $2000 on a pipe and ignition if you don't have to.

    dual 44s on 701

I just got a set of oem 44's and manifold from a 760 to put on my SN. Sure its been bored and ported but this is great info to reference since I suck at carb tuning, glad it was brought back to the top.

    Inside case polishing

Yeah direct injection has no fuel in ports and doesn't flow anywhere except out the injector strait into the cylinder. They are going away from that already because it causes massive carbon build up and now they are doing direct injection combined with port injection for the cleaning effect on...

    Inside case polishing

I went to auto machining school and have been building engines for friends for 20yrs. I used to do r&d for a performance company specilizing in J series Honda v6's. My idea of easy to test is not something a guy can do in his garage, but from a manufacturer and high end performance company [or...

    Inside case polishing

I don't have these things stored for reference. To test you can put a camera inside the port. You can monitor air/fuel ratios which the atomization will affect due to difference in combustion efficancy. Or you can study laminar flow theory which deals in exactly this.

You saved up enough over one summer at 17yrs old to afford a brand new supercharged sitdown? WTF do you do?

    Inside case polishing

No, its not difficult, and yes, its been done countless times in the world of engines. 2 strokes are not unique in this case. It won't help anything.

    Inside case polishing

Its a well known problem. You never polish the intake ports on 4 cylinders otherwise the flow causes the fuel to pull out of atomization and become liquid again adhearing to smooth port walls. Ruff texture creates turbulence which keeps the fuel atomized.

    701 vs 760 ignitions

Ok that sums everything up really well thank you. Is there a way to remove the timing retard from the 760 flywheel or is an aftermarket required?

    701 vs 760 ignitions

This is part of why I asked. The 62t in my raider lost ignition. When I changed CDI's it had a 6m6 box in it with the adapter wire connecting it and confused me. Also, I just got a 760 waverunner. Dual 44's to my superjet, 760 cylinder going on the raider, and the leftover parts being put back...
