Ive read they are different, and that only the 760 can use the zeeltronics box. Besides that point if your looking to go zeel, is there any advantage to one over the other? Also ok to run whatever? Like is it ok to run say a 61x full electrical system on a 760? Or vise versa?
While this wasn't a WTB thread I did get one offered in private that I took him up on. Still curious if anyone esle tried the aftermarkets for future reference though.
Cold seizure. Pistons warm up quicker then cylinder. Engine locks up until cylinder heats up and expands back to operating tolerances. When I last did my top end I found evidence of seizure even though compression was good.
Can't find a decent used 62t CDI right now. Don't have $300 for a new one. See aftermarket new replacements available these days. Anyone take the chance and run one yet?
Check valve for gas tank might be an issue as well. If the easy stuff doesn't pan out you can always pull a plug and look at the cylinder walls, or pull the exhaust manifold to see the pistons for signs of seizing.
No, but metal on metal isn't limited to 4 strokes. The crush reistance might be something in play with the piston to cylinder wall since fuel is mixed with the oil to do both jobs on 2 strokes, especially if there is a problem and detonation becomes a thing. Reaching sure, but maybe.
Valve seats in 4 strokes had to be hardened after they removed lead from fuels because the lead cushioned the slamming of metal on metal when they closed. So kinda more lube...
I avoid canyon the cops are dicks there unlike every other lake in AZ.
Im always at saguaro or bartlett. Bartlett has the beach usually and its nice to just back the skis into the water and leave the truck there and hang out all day.
You should not have handling issues with those aftermarket...
So many WTF's with this thread. You put 275k on a car in 9 years?!?!?!
And that rust is only after 9 years? We have ford model T's that have sat outside since new with less rust out here.
Ok listen and listen good. Heres the breakdown:
1st gen Miata: cool little car with stupid pop up headlights but otherwise good.
2nd gen: greatest car Mazda has ever put on earth behind actual racing cars.
3rd gen- skip. Waste of car.
4th gen [current]= cool again finally.
BMW Z3: complete and...
So now the question of why do you think you want dual cooling? I run 195psi on a 84mm bore 61x with single cooling in AZ. Water temps are high 80's. Air temps 110+. Never had a cooling issue in any of my skis.
