Never really pay any attention and have always use BR8HS on all my Superjet's. Wonder why Yamaha decided to go a little hotter and non resistor plug, must have resistors in the plug caps?

Anyone ever run a 701 with a 62T top end on a 61X bottom with 61X electronics? I have them laying around and would like to make a running motor, just not sure if it's a good idea. not looking for any performance gain just want to puzzle together a good running motor.

Depends how bad it is left up. Fuel in your hi low jets section will get drained from you hi speed through the bad check valve out the low speed into the motor by gravity if you let your ski sits for a while between rides, hard starts or dies after takeoff and you will need to choke it or prime...
