Its not hard to reglass the tray its definitely salvagable

Get a kit from Derrick to widen the tray and put in ninja footholds i think his kit is around 300$ its probably the easiest way to fix your tray its not hard to install refoam and done

Remove the 4 motor mount bolts slide the engine forward about 3 inches connect chamber slide back into position re install motor mount bolts done water routing is dependent on how your pump/engine are set up

I used the motor out of a 98 gp 1200 that was wrecked if you find a kawi 1100 cheap that is a good swap as well overall it isnt very tough of a conversion
