Dont think so?....as in a v2 bot does not need the cf spacer installed?

After building my v2 this winter I'm just now realizing, after i just read something on here, that i did not install a cold fusion midshaft spacer. Are the v2's recessed at all to clearance an oem midshaft or do i need to install the cf spacer? Thanks

Thinking of mounting my ebox on side of hull behind the carbs. Can someone chime in that has installed/used the cold fusion bracket for there ebox and how/what they used to install it. The triangular mounting spots on the bracket are not threaded, where they line up on the ebox is not threaded...
