A small cleanup of the engine bay. New fuel lines and adjusted the waterlines/added a couple of restrictors. Removed the primer.
Swapped from MJ135/PJ130 to MJ125/PJ135. Goin to try it out this weekend and see what kind of difference it makes.
MSD TL arriving shortly. It'll be fun to test both...
Been a while lol. Finally got it done. Parts were sitting for almost 6 years. Don't ask why xD
Primer will get a custom bracket and the water hoses will be revised once I get new fittings etc. Otherwise it's a turn key ready to rip build.
The pump and tiltkit arrived. Pretty nice finish on the RRP tiltkit.
The engine is also ready for carbs and pipe. Guess I'll be spending this winter in the garage :)
These are the ones I use; https://store.jetpilot.com/product/?catID=&prodID=740
Notice the similarity with the one that 700Pirate posted. Bottom line: use supportive boots, especially when you are training backflips and jumping of boat wakes :)
This important;
Trust me, get some good supporting boots from jetpilot/slippery or use some shoes that really support the ankle. I usually ride with proper boots but one time i tried to ride with sneakers. The result was 3 weeks of painful walking + painkillers.
Heres a discussion: http://www.pwcforum.com/general-pwc-jetski-discussion/8430-2-stroke-runaway-explained.html
This happens usually when you have swapped an engine and the fuel lines are dry or if there is an airleak. Less fuel, more air = lean condition and away the engine revs. Last time I...
Christian, the base XFS of 2014 doesn't support 155 from what I know. The ninja competition has a larger intake and pump tunnel. 155 will fit plug 'n play
Sounds like RRP products are a bit overrated these days. Is it really that common for the WB to fail? You would think that the r&d department would have fixed these kind of issues in the past years...
BTW, are the more recent RRP waterboxes prone to let water into the engine like the older...
Time for an update.
So I was going to get myself the H20 148 torrent pump but changed my mind at the last second. I eventually decided to go with the Skat 155 billet setback. Prop is going to be 7/15. Hopefully that pump will last a long time.
Additionally, something unexpected happened a...
The pipe and some goodies finally arrived :)
Can't wait to put it in and hear the sound.
Still not sure which pump to choose. o_O
Pic from the last ride of this season
Little update; cavitation issues have been fixed and it works pretty well. Of course some parts could be upgraded e.g. pump. Nevertheless props to this guy (Eetu) for building it. The weight is around 265 while my xfs is around 280.
Thanks for the info. I bought the RRP pipe.
The pump and prop are still a question mark. Does the H20 setback work fine with 1000cc engines? I'll probably move on to the xscream 1000 after the dasa and was wondering how the pump would work with that engine? Just planning for the future.
Guys, whats your opinion? Riding season is over so I have adequate time to get myself new parts.
Update the setup with either PFP or RRP? Which one would work best with the 850? Iv'e read alot about PFP being good around mid to top and on 1000cc above. The RRP should give more bottom end and...
Thanks for the comments. Our riding season depends on how tough you are. If you can cope with seriously cold water then your good to go. For me, it's just 2-3 months tops.
Question regarding spark plugs;
What plugs would you guys recommend for this setup? At the moment it has BR7ES and I am a...
Done and done. It's alive! Didn't have the time for break in and testing since I had to travel back to Sweden, again :mad:
Note the primers location :)

I'll post some videos of the first test ride when I have the chance.
