No dude I didn't take the carb off to let it air out. I left a bunch of water in my old 550 for a month and never took the hood off.

That does suck about all the water in your hull. After every ride I always take my hood off to let everything air out. I have actually done the same thing in my 550.

For a SN superjet that is super clean. I like the color scheme.

Congrats man. It is an sweet feeling once you bury that first good sub. But I would seriously recommend the block off plate. I built my own and a couple more for my friends. They help a lot with the water being forced in. Plus I have a duckbill. I have no problems at all with getting water...

My friend and I have only been riding our stock 800's for a couple months now. We are able to bury our subs and 180 nose stabs. We also have the fountains down pretty good now. So it is definetly about technique and the will to want to do it. I am about to try a barrel.

I have a 07' sxr and I am thinking about attempting a barrel roll. I can sub, 180 nose stand and do a fountain. I think a barrel roll is next. Any tips on how to get it to roll? Thanks.

I built mine and it has a small gap in it and it works tremendously. I will make you one for 1 million dollars. Just kidding we can go over to my pops house and make you one.
