I'm running a Jet Dynamics scoop grate and the JD extended ride plate and it runs pretty well, wide open it still bounces a little but i'm also 6'6" and 240lbs which is a lot of weight out back. I think a shorter handle pole would make more difference then anything since I'm forced back a little...

A friend and I are taking the skis to Barnegat inlet tomorrow if anyone wants to ride. Never been there before but it should be a good time.

Where is the ramp in relation to the inlet? Does it cost a lot of money to use it? So from a stand up perspective is it a long way to and from land? Thanks for the help so far!

I want to take my ski down the surf, I used to go to corson's with my last skis but that's a long haul from where I live now so Barnegat is a good option, but I don't know the area, ramps, where to ride outside the inlet (is there any beaching areas?) Can anyone help?

That under water port is strange, a lot of freestylers move the outlet so its out of water. I couldnt come up with any reasoning on why it was like that other than noise? And isn't the west coast just a hose from the manifold to the pipe like all the other ones?
