Matt, Thanks for the help, The plastic part of the reed assembly is broken on one cylinder. I Recovered the majority of the plastic from the engine. I could not locate 4pieces appx 1/4 to 1/2" long, they were the ribs separating the reeds. Would the rest just go through the exhaust, or should...

Yes, woodruff key looks fine. not sheared. I have trimmed the coil wires back at the plugs as much as i could. I will check the reeds. Will damage to the reeds be obvious? thanks

The timing marks are were off slightly, so i alligned them. No change. Still rough. Any other thoughts? Would a bad coil cause it to run rough, or would it not run at all? Don't have access to an e-box to check. thanks

Ok, ski is still running rough at idle and on throttle. i have checked and or eliminated the following: water in fuel, carb, lines, several spark plug changes carb is clean and re-built coil wires trimmed back compression 145ea Where else should i be looking? thanks
