second pic in post #1 shows a VERY clean looking flywheel. front crank seal failures i've seen get that whole area pretty dirty. unless the stator grommet failed almost immediately after the crank seal failed. i'm agree with @Harbor and i'm curious to see if anything came loose in there.

the wires for the overheat sensor circuit are black and pink. the purpose of that sensor is to protect the motor by cutting power if the motor starts to overheat. if the sensor is not installed into the cylinder head it should have no effect on your engines performance. (assuming the sensor...

there are different types of primer pumps. if your just worried about looks, i find that the bulb types look better than the big plunger styles. if the primer is already properly installed i would not remove it. they do come in handy sometimes.

I believe 2013 and up Superjets have black composite all the way through the hull so engines bays are black.
