I kept seizing pistons till I lowered my compression. I was running 35cc domes and was blowing around 195 at sea level no signs of detonation. Check your carbs but if it was running fine before it went then you could look into this. Make sure you have the correct jetting 135 mains.
Sounds like an air leak somewhere. Carb gasket, intake manifold gasket, cylinder base gasket, or rear crank seal. Best thing to do when that happens is hit the stop button and hold the throttle wide open. Fix it now before you lean seize.

Remove the return line off the carburetor and blow into the line to pressurize the gas tank. Plug the return line hose to the tank with your finger and wait for the fuel to come out the carburetor return.
This is another one of those horror stories I keep hearing lately. This is why I try and keep all my stuff legit with registration, cf numbers, and vins. All it takes is one dickhead cop. Hope the OP get his ski back.
Good idea I try and make it out to that stretch of the river as much as I can in the summer. Usually up river more riviera or mayflower park. I'm working that weekend but it would be nice to make a little get together out there.
I'd say 701 with pipe and head (185 psi) in warmer weather and water temperature. But would need to be restricted in cold water riding. You'd be fine with single cooling but if you do bouys with lots of WOT things would get a little toasty.
Iv'e been setting my skis up with dual cooling and...
I'm running 16/22 solas concord in my ported 1100 and it runs great 58 on gps. My buddy with a 1200 swap is running a 16/23 solas concord and were about even. I'd go with 16/23.

Yes its close to the pier. I haven't been out there in a while but its the closest place for me to ride. I usually go to Perris for the day or the river for the weekend. You can launch by marine stadium but you cant ride in there and it would be way to far to go out into the ocean.
Its legal you just have to stay a certain distance from the shore and you have to ride out in between the 5mph bouys they have there. You have to have a beach cart to launch there. Theres a cement pad that takes you on the sand but still about 100' that you'll need to get your ski to the water...
Closest place to ride would be Granda St off ocean in Long Beach. You need a beach cart to get your ski to the water. Its inside the break wall so there are no waves but people usually setup a bouy course on Sundays. For waves theres oceanside. Theres Lake Perris, Lake Elsinore and Lake...
Pretty sure this is another fake head. I reported it to ebay.

It pisses me off how much GoPro charges for there mounts and accessories so i looked on ebay and found some knock off accessories. But I wouldn't go cheap on cases. If you use a helmet get the floaty backdoor and use a tether. Do not use the suction cup mount on your ski it will fall off. If...
I chased this issue on one of my skis for a while and it ended up being play between the couplers. I ended up having to replace my couplers because even with a brand new rubber dampner it would still have play in it. But it could be an issue with alignment, driiveshaft/midshaft splines...
