Is that a patented nozzle protection system? DAM I guess you know that I was going to ride it.

thanks guys. Just ordered a couple grenade stickers too. Sticking with the military theme.

I have a stock ride plate to try out too, and access to a d cut stocker. Have to do a bunch of testing and adjusting of the ride plate, handlepole, and foothold location until I find out how it rides best.

EDIT: fired it up today too and its not very loud even with front exhaust. I'm running a stock RN waterbox. New motor feels really snappy on the cart, we will see how it runs soon.

looks great man, can you snap a picture of the edge of the turf where it stops? Did you create a ledge like the stock sn or make one like a rn or does it just stop?

id really like to ride a ski with a short pole with a tight bolt to see if maybe i like it :ugh:

I just sanded the edges with the orbital. Then we taped the turf and sprayed some green on the ski again where I nicked it with the sander. That's the good thing about flat rattle can paint. When I trash it I just spend 5 bucks on another can and touch it up.

I'm going to crazy glue all the edges to keep them from peeling up.

Test rode it today.

The ski feels awesome with the short pole and wide tray. I can't believe I have never built a ski with a wide tray and thick underpadding before. It's so much easier on my joints.

The 865 at 846cc's feels really good, however going with pole breathers only wasn't the best idea.

I have to build a hood liner or something so I can get more air to the motor. Its getting choked by the two small pole breather tubes.

I rode it with the long purple plate on it and it felt like riding a superjet. Hard to tell it was shortened until you recovered from a landing.

My next plan is to cut some off that purple plate and to get some more air to the motor so it can run correctly.

anyhow, here's the pictures of the best this ski will ever look. It's all downhill from here on in:

got a few more stickers. Might get a few more smaller grenades and helicopters. Going for a noisy sticker scheme.

lookn good! hopefully the copters on your ski are the only ones flyn low over the west end surf.. and not ncp bustn our balls..

also, did you use the breather tubes that came with the x metal pole? i was goin to try and get away using just them for air inlets on my new build, kinda thinking to add another one in hood after hearing its choking your motor.
