Talking RPMs then go with a rotary engine over 2 or 4 stroke engine

rotary engine is a lot like a 2 stroke, well very similar, gas oil mixed, no valves, just the rotary disc to help with the air distribution, and/or to give each cylinder the right amount of air at the right time, might be a better way to explain it.

I wish I had pics of every single build ive done, jet skis, quads, dirt bikes, go karts, motorcycles, but I don't. And stop segregating me for my age, its obvious my knowledge of this stuff is up to par with most of the people on this forum. my age just gives me less experience, in no way less knowledge of the matter though.

you may be smart for your age, but there are some geniuses on this site. master mechanics, engineers, and machinists. there are a lot of people you may be smarter than, but if youre looking to outsmart someone or tell them how to do something, then youre in the wrong place. you know a lot of theory. and if youre 15 or 16, you have no experience. trust me, i thought i was smart when i was your age too, now i realize ten years later, im still slow compared to guys around here and guys i've worked with i went to different tech schools totaling over 4 years, but i learned more in 6 months of being in an actual shop than those 4 years together. in theory, a motor will never fail and will last forever

I was a genius in high school too and mastered everything I touched. That was over 20 years ago and I have continued to master everything since. I still learn new things on a daily basis and the only one thing I absolutely know for sure is that there is still tons for me to learn... And a lot of it is from the great people on this site.

Do you honestly think we all reached some magical age and just stopped learning so you could catch up?

Tone down your rebuttals, don't try so hard to prove what you do know, and find out who you are talking to before you sprack off. There are people on this forum who actually had input on the design of the very engines you are simply working on.

i feel the same way. i work on these every day, and i know i dont have a ton of experience, and every day i learn something i didnt know before. Thats what making mistakes are for

i wish there could be a golden age when you knew it all lol. there is no catching up, somebody is always better, i get that, i just dont like it when people talk to me like im a tool to this sport or something. i have more middle aged and adult freinds that i hang out and ski with than i do people my own age, which is sad, or good, theres a million different ways to take everyting. Im an aerospace machinist in training right now, i do body work for cars and painting on the side with my uncle, i dont want to be the best, but i wish i could get more respect, or prove myself to some of ya. i would go to the surf slam or the daytona freeride, but theres no way my dad will take me lol.

Quit putting yourself on a pedestal and people will start treating you with respect.
Your very first post in the thread came off as elementary knowledge at best, and your responses were arrogant.
There is a wealth of knowledge on the forum that is unimaginable. Many members are respected experts with national or global recognition in their specific field.
We are all enthusiast of the sport. We wouldn't be on this forum if we weren't. Most of us like to tinker, build, modify our skis. It is a very "hands on" hobby.
Just chill out and sit back, read, learn, and respectively participate in the discussions.

I picked my 2012 ktm 250sx up last year for 4700, and sold my 2012 150sx a couple months before that for 4900 and the prices have probably gone down. The thing with the Yamaha two strokes is that you're paying 7500 for 2006 technology, but ktm refines their bikes every year. Also the powerband on the 250sx's is smooth it's almost like riding a 250f. And maintenance on the two strokes is WAY easier and cheaper

Working on the 2smoke mx bikes is cheaper and easier.
2 smokes are fun to ride. (as a change of pace, all MX bikes are fun to ride)
and 2012 250sx is probably better than a 2006 yz250.

thats cool and all, but when it comes down to it a 450 motocross bike (of any brand) is the cream of the crop. take a 450 to the track for a day and come home and tell me how great your 2smoke or 250f is.

I wish they had developed 400-500cc twostroke bikes that did not vibrate so much and were easier to start.

Bullpoop. People like to believe age discrimination only happens to adults. If more people nurtured and supported kids like this, they wouldn't constantly be trying to prove themselves to everyone. I believe that young people get stereotyped more than any other category. It is just about impossible for an exceptional young person to break away from undeserved low societal expectations.
