yeah but this is the point why do ANY work at all on a ski slated to be discontinued? I was arguing with the general manager at my local dealer about why and how and he basically agreed with everything I like and want because back in the day he was a rider too and his opinion was that nothing would change because they only like 500 a year so it isn't worth it to do it especially since 2 strokes will be gone shortly- I told him about sealions post with the 4-broke I mean 4 stroke in it and he said it would be awesome but not likely. once again too much work for no return.

we would sell more than 500 a year if there was something there worth buying.

what is the total for a freeride setup? and if you go bigger on the motor you could easily hit 8 grand right?

well put something close to with a b-pipe and I'll take it.
even with the 4stroke in it that thing would have mega power- I'd buy one.

my money is same - same nothings changed except maybe the price

its more.

I am leaving tomorrow to the dealer meeting. The actual product reveal is at the dinner at 8 tommorow. I will post if I can as soon as I am back in the room. My hope is all new. My thoughts are most likely unchanged.

Kaveman just left my house and is headed back over to Destin to get his room and possibly see the ski tonight. He said if they let him take pictures he will post some tonight---I told him if they didn't "let" him he needed to pretend he was on his phone wile he took some pics. I might get to go and check it out with him tommorow---he's going to call me later and let me know if he can get me in as a visitor with him.

Kaveman works for a dealer near Ft. Worth and the ONLY reason he said he wanted to be here was for the new SJ unveiling....

He said he'll be pissed if it's the same old thing, but has heard from a reliable source that it is different than the previous eleven years...

We'll see soon. :fing02:
