Thanks, yeah it was definitely a project. More time consuming than anything. Learned a lot from this forum.
Yeah I started on bikes. Got a late start at racing around 15. Wasn’t setting the world on fire but I could hold my own. Didn’t get into skis until I came home from attending MMI. Work in a large dealership for years as a tech and service manager. Got out of it to start my current job but also started my own side business as a mobile tech for people. I did a lot when I first started but I’ve calmed it down a lot. Things came up and realized I wanted to enjoy my own stuff also. Motorcycles are definitely my thing though. I wish my garage could be filled with all kinds of different versions and pick one to go for a quick spin on for the day.
Got on this forum s long time ago. Actually first started it along with green hulk for tech help. I think when I first started the “Richters” has just came out. Things have changed.

Thanks, it came out ok for my first time doing it without any help. The “paint shop” paint was definitely a decent paint for the money. If I ever had to do another one I would be more comfortable with the amount of layers, working with the humidity n spray gun.

Hey guys, went out today on the river and got some more tray time. Turns and stability are getting better but I’m far from where I was. One issue I see that I’m having is getting use to the zero degree bars. What widths do you guys use? Mine feel wide to me somewhat. Maybe I have to cut them in some. Ski is running great. If you guys didn’t notice in the “for sale” section, I did post it up. Not what I want to do but I’m not going to enjoy as much as it should be.

Ski went to a new owner today. See what the future brings. I have a 2006 Yamaha FXHO that needs some tlc. Some fiberglass work in bumper area from hitting the docks, repaint from the scratches, new seat covers and mats and some engine area clean up with the usual maintenance it’s being replaced. I know it’s not the norm on here for a big sit down makeover.
