Never noticed but I'm missing the small parts that help secure the steering cable in place, so I need to order those from a OEM parts house. I also installed the Slop free steering cable ends from Rhaas, very nice product!

I believe buying oem mounts is the same or close to the same price, but no warranty. Build is on the back burner for now, skis in wisconsin and I'll be in michigan until the 1st of march unfortunately

Picked up a NOS Wet jet Kraze Westcoast head today for cheap.

Story on the heads is they came from a west michigan dealer who removed the westcoast heads as soon as they came in from Mastercraft. His customers were ignoring his advice of only using 93 octane gas and using 87 which meant they were blowing the top end. To prevent this from happening he removed these heads and replaced w/ stock 61x heads. This head has never been ran, so I'm pretty stoked to throw this on my SJ. I believe it should put me at 180 psi with these domes

seeing that you are pretty much done...you will have plenty of time to help me right? I am close to done with the fiberglassing phase.
Im kicking myself for not buying that head now.

New cooling and fuel lines, head gasket and no more ghetto rigged start stop switch running thru the bilge outlet and I'm done! I'll be back in the mitten saturday or Sunday hit me up and I'll come help! if you're talkin about these westcoast heads I think the guy in muskegon still has some. We gotta get ready riding season is around the corner!!!

Ski is coming along. The Westcoast head will make more power than stock because of the higher compression, but will not make as much power as an Oringed head like ADA with a much tighter squish band.
