2015 fiberglass Phantom

Actually have a few concerns about the EPIC HX3 CDI I purchased as well. I have a buddy on here that has an HX3 as well and he had all sorts of problems with it. He says it destroyed his bendix (bunch of teeth were broken off).

A buddy of mine just sent me an hx3 to test that was kicking back on start up. Ran it in my ski all weekend with no issues. Just be aware, if it kicks back don't keep trying to start it. That's what will destroy a bendix.

I'm not the best at Hydro-turf, but it's on. Hope it sticks.

Looks great to me. The best kind of turf job is a done/completed turf job.

Like josh said they make studs that thread into the case. You slide the mani over it and use nuts to cap them off. DASA Manis come with them and are very nice. Only need them for the top 4 bolts

Pulled the intake manifold to see if I could fit a M6x30mm socket screw in one of the top holes. As you can see from the pic it won't clearance. Also you can see I ran a screw up backwards to emulate a stud and there is very little clearance at all.

^that doesn't seem right. I had zero issues with the bolts and the holes being big enough. Might need to drill out the holes but you should be able to put the top 4 in first and then bolt the rest. Best of luck!

You can make your own stud from those bolts, calculate the length needed with manifold installed/torqued and leave just enough exposed for a washer a nylock nut, no extra, remove manifold & lock tight studs in

You should be able to get that bolt through. I would either drill the top hole just slightly bigger to allow a greater angle, or take a dremel to the edge that it is getting caught on. You don't need much either way. Mine hung up there as well, but it was close enough that I could just turn the bolt and the threads caught the edge of the hole pulled the head past the lip.
