2015 fiberglass Phantom

Built my mid shaft using a GP1200 housing which has 2 aluminum arms sticking out. Cut one off and drilled out the other one to accept the rubber shroud holder thing. Works like it was meant to be.

Jet Dynamics intake grate is going to require quite a bit of grinding. Had to cut the wings off first.

Surprised that both the shoe and intake grate are made by the same company and they really don't fit together well.

Fully inserted there's still a lot sticking out. Like I said, lots of grinding ahead of me.

Anybody familiar with Blowsion's heavy duty steering cable. One end has a longer sheath part then the other. Which end goes to the handle bars and which end goes to the steering nozzle?

long on pump short up top

The through hull fitting includes a rubber stopper which the stock steering cable slides through and then is compressed and makes a water tight fitting. I don't see anyway that monster steering cable is making its way through that tiny hole in the rubber stopper. Try to drill the hole out larger or just go without the stopper. Thoughts?

BTW, I don't see that washer going on either, unless I drill the center of it out.

Hope you aren't using a xmetal pole with that steering cable. Been there done that
Nope... ATP pole, but it has had its own problems. The 1" long two piece bracket was too long to properly secure the 3/4" mounting area on the Blowsion heavy duty cable. So... had to break out the Dremel tool and a carbide burr and grind the crap out of the bracket to make it work. It ain't pretty, but it appears to work.

Drill them if they wont fit, but remove that rubber seal on the cable first. Use windex on the cable and try sliding the rubber compression plug on before you drill.

I used a cord grippers from McMaster Carr and cut the rubber on one side and slipped it over the cable. Those cables are beefy. I had to make custom mounts on the steering side as well.

U getting excited to ride this sucker or what?
My only concern is that I'm throwing a brand new, yet to be tuned PowerMouse motor in it. My JetManiac big bore, which is in my Superjet, is totally dialed in and hits like a ton of bricks. I'm hoping that with the PHP carb speed plate changing carb setting will be much faster. In fact, I'm probably gonna buy another set of Mikuni 46mm for when I finish up my FootRocket build. With two sets of 46s on hand, I'll be able to make carb adjustments way faster and just drop them in.
