I don't know if this constitutes the start of a build, but the damn thing is finally out of my basement and now in the back of Mazda3 hatchback ;)

Any of you that have been following, know I'm in the midst of a FootRocket build now as well (long story, but I ended up with two aftermarket hulls at about the same time). The key reason I ended up with two hulls and not just one and my wallet light by $1,500 was due to the awesome work of @sinisterjosh209 Josh really came through for me on this hull and made things right.

I believe the Phantom will go together much more quickly than the FootRocket is currently going, as I'm not spending time cleaning resin out of mounting holes, drilling and tapping motor mount plates, aligning and installing pump shoe, affixing hood hooks, installing Watcon hood seal, etc... Point is the Phantom showed up in a much more "ready to build" condition. Now I haven't installed and aligned a pump in it yet, but I suspect it should be straight forward and well within spec. I'll update more pics and details as I start working on the Phantom this weekend.

you're going to love it! Not only do they ride phenomenally they go together like the best wet dream you've ever had. I think I finally know they they are called Phantoms. Because its finally a budget priced hull, strong, light, sexy and rides flat as good as it does surf. Truly a hull that does it all. Finally! Only one in the industry like this.

Not really an update, but here's the 155mm OEM pump I put together last night.

This is the first time I will be trying a 155 and I wasn't sure what prop to get so I picked this up on the cheap via eBay. Hope it works out.

It's sorta correct and a long story, but yes I put $1,500 DOWN PAYMENT on a Phantom and then believed that money was taken with no intention of providing me a hull. Josh reached out to me after the story became very public and chose take responsibility for his partner and ultimately build me the hull. Upon completion of the hull I did pay Josh the rest of the money we had agreed upon and the hull showed up at my house.

I will say it again... @sinisterjosh209 is a stand up guy and I don't know if he's still building these hulls for people or not, but he's a great guy to work with and I would have zero reservations about buying and aftermarket hull from him.

Love the look of these hulls! Josh's finished product looks amazing! I love my chan, but can't wait to get @SkiPro 's here, build it, and see how it stacks up with the chan. New design for the better... Can't wait.
And can't say enough about josh. Never met him and he just went and hooked me up big on a carbon piece I needed. Great guy! I would buy from him in a heart beat. Just get in line, he's probably going to start getting swamped with these sexy hulls.

Yes @sinisterjosh is the man! My brother just picked his phantom up a few weeks ago and we can't believe how amazing this build has been. So amazing that I had to buy one! We will show them off at W.F with Josh. Better put your orders in soon peeps, list is getting deep!
