155 pump shoe needs some trimming. I'm going to try to knock that out this afternoon.

I ran into a issue yesterday trying to install the FRI side rail fin on the left side of the ski. I based all my measurements off the right side when I decided on what length to trim my rails to. I didn't have any issues on the right side but the left is a different story. For some reason the rail on the left side of the ski gets really thick the farther forward I go from the back. At the front of the tray it's 3/4" thick. Since the fins mount from the side the thickness of the rail presented an issue

The fins are pretty simple design. It uses a piece of 1" angle and has plate welded to the back side of it. It turns a 90° rail into a 45° rail that catches a little larger volume of water and has m6 rivet nuts for attachment

I called a couple friends trying to get ideas how to fix it. One suggested adding glass to the rail to extend what I just cut off and one suggested mounting from the top which I think I'm going to do. I ordered a pack of stainless rivet nuts and hopefully everything works out

I can vouch for the 1015. Thing is an animal and I don't believe my friend has had any issues with his. In the video, it was technically my first day flatwater flipping and riding anything bigger than a 701. I will agree though, if the V2 is going to be your surf/ rec ski, I'd go with a stock stroke. Check out "davebrochuraski" on IG. He's got a carbon SV-1 with a tpe964 and the dude flies. I've ridden @jeastes1 V2 with an Xscream ss865 in it and that ski was fun as hell.

I've already decided on a motor. I ordered a Dasa 10mil from Taylor Curtis. 89mm bore, with Dasa intake, vforce 2s, dual 46s, and dasa flywheel cover all black. I also ordered a jetinetics charging flywheel from him.

Good job on the consecutive flips. I've been trying to work on not over rotating on my Dvx. I ordered a couple different reduction nozzles from XScream. The one I currently have on it is an upsweep and XScream welded a tab to add more static trim. One of the ones I ordered is a straight nozzle and I'm hoping that helps a lot

Someone's not messing around! Stoked to see how it works for you in that ski. Everyone has their own riding style. I'm sure it'll be a blast either way. Different "strokes" for different folks lol.

I've never really been satisfied with a small motor. Maybe it's the torque I like. I was pretty impressed with a stage 3 hpe 809 I rode in a xfs but I still want more than that
