Surfriding 2016 KittyCraft v2 build

I bought a new Tigercraft v2 carbon/glass Hybrid. I didn't want a 115 lb hull and I already have a carbon ski so I decided on the hybrid.

I planned on putting the 1105 out of my Dvx in the bot and everyone told me I was crazy. Now I'm up in the air on what motor I'm going to put in this thing.

I got my pole roughly together. I'm running the Blowsion ovp and I didn't like how far the chinpad stuck out so I did a little trimming.

I trimmed it up a little more to make it look similar to its original shape.

I shaped some puddy around the edge and when it dries I'll lay a layer of glass over the top just to get my shape for the edge then I'll add a few layers underneath

Not sure if it was necessary or not but I filled my tubbies with 2 part foam. They were pretty sturdy to begin with but it makes me feel better that there's not going to be a void behind them when I bolt them on.

Put the new 1105 in there with charging system and pump gas, and a PHP1015 in the DVX

I really don't like the idea of buying a motor blind just because someone says it's better. I might be picky but I want it to feel a certain way. People talk highly of the 964 taking about how much power they make and how their such a perfect surf motor. I agree that they are powerful but I don't like how the power comes on. I've rode 2 one on a bpipe and one on a tnt. I didn't like the way the 898 felt either. Maybe because it's on a wet pipe who knows

I got the tubbies on today. I didn't really want to countersink the bolts in and make the glass any thinner so I used conical washers. I thought about glassing them on but I've heard talk about new ones possible coming out in the future so I just used white 5200 on the backside edge so they could still be removed.
