The hood is more of a lid so it's not like you have to crank down on it to hold it on and I want to keep the dash clean and cushiony for my knees. It hurts slamming your knee into a rachet strap. I broke my kneecap last February and I don't feel like hitting it on anything again.

I never even installed a hoodstrap on mine. Rode since may with no issues. My bilge crapped out too. Been running an oem bilge and thrust scupper only.

Should probably stick a cork in my bilge outlet to plug it up.

The hood design works very well. It really is a lid. And sits in a deeper channel than a superjet.

Rails are done minus some bolts and conical washers for the death fins. My chinpad stands out like a sore thumb. I need to get a matching wrap for it.

Hydroturf screwed me on the turf. What they sent me looks like it's been sanded down almost flat. I've been scrambling most of the morning trying to source more turf for the bottom of the tray.

Couldn't source any molded diamond. I ended up using it. The other piece was thicker on one end so I made due. One more piece left!

The tray is finished. I think I might wait to turf my adjustable holds till after Daytona.

This is the quickest turf job I've ever done. A couple things I would have done differently if I had the time but Daytona is just around the corner and I don't have time for one of my week long turf jobs. Still a lot of work ahead but hopefully tomorrow I'll have her up and running....
