lets try and keep bens build on topic

I'm confused. Is he building a Superjet, or an SXR? Originally this thread started out with him putting together his LPW backflip Superjet, now it has been diverted to some SXR build.

Also, everytime someone asks about where Paul is going, the quetion gets diverted. It is kind of odd that he would take a vacation for so long this time of year. :dunno:

Which topic are we keeping on?

so he can see? 5 pg have been my superjet and i put 3 pics on of his ski..sorry to

Other side just got done,carbon..Im working on my budds sxr to and im also
makeing molds for rideplates, hoods w/ matching nose, chinpads. So im
getting ready for that.

On this reinforcement, did you do 2 different pieces, one for the top and one for the bottom? Looks like I see a cut edge right at the bondline.

I think this is a thread about re-inforcement.LOL

one whole sheet for the whole thing, then a second for the top half. First layed glass
down inside the gap then layed down the carbon over the same time. This is the strongest way.Everyone takes diff approaches, this is my way.I don't believe in using
foam to fill a gap, when theres no need for it to be filled. I think it came out nice, and it's
stronger than before thats all that matters.

I used a second peice on the top because the sheet i got was limited,so i cut it in a way
were id have the same amount of scrap left over for a second peice on the top half.
Well its done now so we can move off topic...have to feed the baby now lol, hopefully
will have the rest done tonight for pics.

There is always more than one way to skin a cat, his way works for him......

24/7 use to only reinforce on the top half of the hulls. That is where they crak most of the time anyhow. the lower half is much stronger and thicker.
