Was going to go with the delta 3s but went with the boysen rad valve instead
after talking to Paul, plus my cost on them was 113.00 bucks. So those are on the way.
Did alot of sanding tonight, takeing all the black off the bottom deck.cut off tabs on both sides of the firewall, and lower deck to save weight.Getting a x metal waterbox to save the lbs also.Should have the rest of the sanding done by tomorrow for reinfocement of the lower deck...i weighed the resin and stran glass im useing comes to
.6 pounds so to me it's not a big deal consitering i shaved weight just about everywere on this ski.+ i have a carbonfiber hood almost done out of my mold, don't know the exact weight but deff half of the original 24-7 hood i have.

Man is this EME pipe comin out soon...trying to decide if i want that kind of noise,or
how much could i quite it down? Now is the stage in my build were i could put
a long round style waterbox inside my hull under the gunwale?..Yes-No?

My take on the EME pipe is to be cautious. The pipe does what it needs to for Malone's 1000cc motor, but I'd rather wait and see someone else slap it on a smaller motor first. That good ol' B-pipe has proven to be very good on motors all the way up to 1000cc. I know that the EME claims X horsepower gain over B pipe, bu twhat if that gain is all the way up at 6500rpm. How does the EME perform on a 760-900cc motor at the bottom end?

The EME pipe has been tested on a 5mil lamey motor. The power difference was quite significant:headbang: you can pm or ask Virgin (brian at thrust innovations) , he actually tested the boat with the pipe

Pulled a all nighter and got a good jump on the inside..took for ever to get
the black por15 off,i like this look better.I weighed all resin and glass i planned
on useing it came to .7 pounds, all of it was used.Legs and tabs were taken off on the firewall, that weighed more than the glass did...so the ski only
saw .4 added weight.Going Carbon B pipe that should knock 1-1.5 pounds off
the b i have now.In the makeing now is a carbon waterbox and i expect to see 2 more pounds gone there. The batt try is carbonfiber molded into the hull
and hooks will be glassed in to hold batt and alum tank down.I mocked the motor in and yes im able to get the fly cover on/off.I shead some weight off
the rear by putting a curvy D (style) cut in my tray..for nozzle throw and ..weight.. .6 pounds there.

Well, got a little done.I marked out the BUN plate, its getting a chop from th back 3 1/2 inches.I finished the trey cut..for weigh reduction and for
trim.I got the specs on lenzis hull, and finalized one side (cut wise and distance for chime).once back is done, the strakes are going 1/4 in taller. This
will help the ski steer now that its been shorted. The pic of the ski in white is BUNS wich is the same concept im going for.
