They are simple but effective for keeping the tank from shifting around. Epoxy them into the hull and turf the tank side:
There might be interest in a SXR tank w/ battery box for rear exhaust 1100s. The battery is a PITA to get to on SXR1100s and when they are rear exhaust, there's more room up front for gas. Also, a lot of the 1100 setups need three fuel pickups for triple carbs so you're in for an aftermarket fuel pickup anyway.

I figure it's a long shot but can anyone confirm a blaster mod pipe chamber fitting in any standup hull with either the 5 or 3 gallon version of these?
I showed the tank to a friend of mine and he swore they were robotic welds. They look that good.
It seems there are a lot of people are copying this design now. They all look sloppy and they aren't any less expensive than the original.

Can I just buy one of the carbon fiber locators? They are awesome for a few things! I cut the one in half that came with my 5 gallon tank from you and used it as a stop for my waterbox, and now I want to use it as a stop for my Jaz tank. Simple, effective and strong!

Yes, I sell just the carbon locators by themselves too if you want to use them for something else or have bought a competitors tank. I can make them in custom lengths up to 17" long.
