The powdercoating shop I've been using just told me today that they are too busy with internal products and will no longer be offering powdercoating services. I'm going to check around at a few other shops so the PC price and color options may change...

Can your smallest tank (3gal?) accept the larger filler cap?
Also are the strap hooks the same between tanks? I haven't been following this thread after I got the 5 gallon tank a couple years ago. I'm looking to also get the small version and wanted to know if the same strap tie down points can be used?

I use the 2.75" cap on both sizes of tanks now. The same insert locations would be used. Some of the strap lengths on the smaller tank will be shorter, or you can just use two regular fuel tank straps up and over it.
