The waves are not your only concern, but I see no mention anywhere. The rip currents will not be visible even to the most trained eye, and they will be stronger than one can begin to imagine, especially when she is pulling away. As far as getting close to shore and taking photos in certain areas, individuals frequently die due to the unexpected surges, because it looks safe and then they get to close (5-10’ above ground level in some locales is currently expected). Waterspouts appear out of nowhere, tornadoes, and of course lightning. Mbs has now dropped to 942, and may likely drop even lower, because she is still intensifying. I am currently hearing pleasant gusts here, and now it is starting to lightly rain once again.

I used to do this for a living before entering early retirement B1m38; most on the site are well aware of this fact. Common sense dictates that everything is always off, because everything is constantly changing…sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes sideways, and then some...so pay attention. I see 48 now.
