I had to look closer , at first glance it looked really cool, but then when I looked closer, hey thats an extension lol

Soooo, decals.. Im going to use exotic signs and sticker this thing up. white with black outline? Im planning on doing Impros down the hood, Blowsion and Hydro Turf on the sides above the rail and JetManiac below the rail upside down. Im just looking at my reg. numbers in plain black and it says jack o lantern. Maybe white will break it up a little.

Thank you everyone for the positive comments, and to all those that helped with ideas and suggestions. And the biggest thanks goes to JetManiac for putting up with me and providing one sweet azz motor and just about everything else I could need.

Bearing carrier is shimmed out 3/4" with a chunk of 6061. Battery tray is glued down. I ran out of glue and still need to put the bilge pump in, so Im on hold until tomorrow. Time to relax a bit.

Wow! I haven't been keeping up. It looks awesome.

Wish I knew you got the orange carbon/kevlar. I also found out it turned red after wetting out the hard way.

I think you mentioned that in this thread, after i already ordered it. Either way it looks good and should be strong. How is your 300 build?

Oh, well in that case....you'd been warned...lol

It's not, haha. Had other things going on this winter. Your build makes me really want get on it. We'll see.

Tonight I built up the pump with the new prop, (nice fit and finish on the hooker!) I bolted up the pump, intake grate and ride plate. Connected the trim and steering lines, glued down the bilge pump. Tomorrow I will wire the bilge pump, put the motor in one last time and bolt everything down. Im waiting on a b pipe coupler since my old one was torn. Last on my list is to route the exhaust from the waterbox to the side outlet and Im out for a test ride.

one minor thing, now that the pump is in the ski the prop makes the slightest noise on the wear ring in the same spot every time it passes it. Its just a tiny tick sound. The pump is not brand new, could it just be a mark or imperfection in the wear ring? Im hoping in the first 5 min of riding it goes away. I just dont want to see it be something serious, the prop wasn't cheap.

Should not hurt the prop at all, most new impellers will do that, as long as you can turn it by hand without forcing it then I probably wouldnt worry about it but if you want to be safe you can take the pump back out and sand it down where ever it hits.

Really took my time tonight and got everything in and lined up. I did all my wiring, shortened the battery cables since the battery is back by the bulkhead. After I have my b pipe coupler I can put the waterbox in the right place and make the last exhaust connection. My wife comes home for 1 day tomorrow and if I work on this I wont live to ride it. Hope to be breaking it in by saturday.
