Hadn't planned on doing a ski build for myself this year. I either want a hull I can't afford or doesn't exist anymore. I had an F1pro before and totally regret selling it. WDK sold the molds a few years ago and they're no longer available. Then from outta nowhere, this unassembled hull kit finds me and follows me home. I can't thank @Ducky and @naticen enough for the opportunity to build and ride this hull. Everytime I walk into my shop and see it sitting there I get excited.
It had already been shortened 5 inches when I picked it up. I considered replacing the pieces and taking it back to stock length but curiosity has gotten the better of me. If it's too short I'll make a full width ride plate. I want a wide tray so I figured it would be a good place to start since the hull isn't bonded yet. The full length gunwales looked pretty goofy with the shortened bottom deck so I went ahead and cut them down too.
Still have a lot to do obviously. Currently waiting on materials. Wasn't sure I wanted to do a build thread but I thought it might help keep me motivated.
