I do, I just hate hogging the holes out of my parts. Couch mount holes are already bigger. I had them pushed all the way out and it was still an 1/8" high and the threads were already at the edge of the bedplate holes. Would've had to hog those out too. Taking an 1/8" off the bottom worked out perfectly. Minor obstacle. One big obstacle I DID have with this build was having to buy 2 exhaust pipes. The first one I bought didn't show up this summer.
Fair enough. Our header pipes are shipping now. I got your dig,

Thank you! You have a different hood than the oem which I have. Your connection to the front bulkhead is where FX1Dave attached his. Makes sense.

What are you doing to prevent it from sliding sideways?

Forgot to get a pic of this new RadDudes FX-1 waterbox installed before putting the tank in but it fits so nice. I used (2) 1" foam blocks underneath and turned it slightly towards the bpipe outlet. Chamber is nicely aligned and has a finger gap over the motor mount. Exit hose also looks like it was meant to be. It's really packed in there with an RN tank and I'm happy with how it all worked out. RadDudes is under new management and killin it. Had this box sitting at my door 1 week after placing the order.

There was a video on Youtuber of a guy with a FX1 that was running the Rad Dudes FX1 waterbox and it sounded great. I think I'll have to get one too. Nice work on the build...........top quality work!

Installed graphics yesterday. Letting it sit in the sun today and couldn't resist taking a pic. Wasn't sure if I wanted to turf the rails or not. Think I've decided to do front and rear bumpers for a stockish fx1 look. Just a couple loose ends to tie up. Test ride by the weekend.IMG_20220824_161405318.jpg

It's a "Block Stock."
So, it looks stock to me until I get closer.
My stock rails are not covered, so to keep it looking stock, I agree, don't turf the rails.
The graphics turned out great!

Who made those graphics? Build turned out great! Very clean work.
I worked with Mike at pwcgraphics.com. I've ordered 4 complete pwc kits and many reg#'s from him the past 2 years and he does good work. Printed on 3m scotchcal vinyl.

I absolutely love the blue and green and white! Would he be willing to do similar colors again or was this a 1 off custom thing?

Got bored and decided to widen the rails on this thing. First I cut the vertical section off and sanded down to the fiberglass. Then made my desired shape with sheet foam and tape.

Used some epoxy and filler mix to smooth the transition and laid a few layers of glass over top.

Then I flipped it over and pulled the foam and tape out.

Laid down more 1208 on the bottom side.

That didn't take nearly as long as I thought so I decided I wanted to redo my footholds. The angle just wasn't right on my first pair and I didn't feel comfortable. Cardboard and packing tape to the rescue.

Then turf.

Also made a hood catch for the xscream handle pole bracket.
