Great idea on the rails. Carbon work looks amazing! No problem @VXSXH20 Thanks for posting that link. That guy is really talented. Wish he would hang around here some and build more gas tanks.
Sorry for the slow updates y'all. I started working on this when my son's preschool opened back up. Then they closed it again a few days later. Doesn't leave me with much work time and paying jobs come first.
Made a little progress the past few days. I foamed the gunwales then capped the underside with a few layers of carbon.

Once that cured I flipped it over and cut out foothold buckets. Started with a 12" tray, now it's 21" wide. Plan to make bolt on footholds later on.

I'm doing the Tom21 144mm pump tunnel on my FX1 and I'm going to be running a LPW ported 718. I have a 65V GP800 nozzle and the X2 trim/steering nozzle like yours. Is this 65V nozzle a good option in your opinion compared to using the 62T nozzle (my FX1 is a stock hull besides the 144mm pump swap)? Also, did you have to grind some of the plastic to get the trim collar of the X2 components to fit on the 65V GP800 nozzle? It seems like it almost fits on mine, but it appears about 1/8" of material needs to be removed on either side of the X2 trim collar.Skat setback 144 is in. GP800 reduction nozzle, x2 trim ring and steering nozzle. Didn't necessarily want trim but wanted the exit angle to be adjustable.
