That right, $500!
$500 to who ever can tells me who dropped a ski on my X2

I need to know its driving my nuts. I put our skis up on the sand Saturday then I come down Sunday morn at around 10:30 and my X2 is cracked and has blue paint on it.
This sucks because I dont mind painting it but the whole point of the ski was that it looked stock and was clean. (but has a 750 in it)

Its the ski in the center of the 5 in this pic

I'll give it to you when I fly to in the morn to smash your ski.

For real here, I'm asking if someone saw it to tell me so I can know who did it.

thats why you dont leave your ski on the beach!!

Regardless of where you leave your ski whether its on a trailor in the parking lot or on the beach. If you do damage to someones ski or property you should be man enough to step forward and say something.

If you back into someone car in the parking lot do you just drive way or do you wait for them to come out and appologize, maybe leave a note.

dude, your situation sucks. but i'll fill you in on some a few things that happen when your ski sits on the beach. i moved some one elses ski so i could get to mine and work on it. later on someone had moved mine. then the next morning i found my ski sitting at the waters edge 2 hours before i got to the beach. people move other peoples stuff. thats the way it goes. its also a risk we all take. i'm not deffending breaking someone elses stuff and not saying anything about it,but relax. 500 bucks are you serious. 500 bucks will buy a new hood for that ski.

I think your missing the point all together...Sure you can move someone ski to give you some more room to work on yours. But did you actually damage their ski? If you had done damage to someone else's ski would you say anything to them?
I am sure if you came out that morning someone moved your ski down near the water and you found it floating 20yrds off shore you would be singing a different tune.

Not saying it's right, but it happens.. Hell with another hood, you can buy another X2 for $500. I understand your frustration, but truthfully if you have a gem of a ski you don't want damaged, and have others you can ride, you should leave it at home. Freerides are abusive. I completely see what your saying about someone fessing up. They shouldn't just pretend it didn't happen, but I know what goes on at freerides.

People get wasted things go down. Again not justifying it at all. If I damage someones ski, helping move one after a few too many I'll be the first to tell you and fix the problem. Hope you find out who did it, but it's doubtful. Keep your money!

I would certainly hope that if someone dropped something on your ski that they would fess up. We had paid security that was very experienced working with other festivals and works with many world famous acts on a regular basis, so I have complete faith that it must have happened during daylight hours. I didn't see anything, but I was also running all over the beach all weekend helping facilitate things.

Also, I know your are pretty peeved, and I would be too, but it's not worth a $500 reward imo. The freeride community is a pretty good bunch of people & it shouldn't take a cash reward for someone to balls up and say what happened if they did it.

Ya I'll take a pic for you guys. It makes me sick to look at so I haven't even been out in the shop since we got home.
And my 95 looks like a boom went off in the rear cyl

I hate that this would happen. It sucks and whoever did it should have come forward. However, It's done, it happened, move on. If you ride long enough I'm sure you will find the bottom nice and hard a few times and this won't be the first time you will be doing fiberglass repair.
